On The Way Farm was started in 2013 by Farmer Jill & Mike.

We both enjoyed gardening since we were kids and both had careers working for privately held companies, botanical gardens, the Culinary Institute of America as well as family owned estates. We’ve taken everything we learned, collectively, to create our garden and share it all with you!

We want to provide the best tasting organic, pesticide-free veggies as possible.

We spend countless hours browsing seed catalogs to choose the perfect varieties for the upcoming season. That’s why we’re known for our tomatoes! We want to share our knowledge with our customers so everyone can learn that eating locally grown produce can be affordable and simple! If you don’t know what something is in our garden, just ask!

Community is everything.

We are so fortunate to have the help and support of many friends and selfless volunteers within our little community to help keep our farm growing and running.

Keeping young and old connected — when a child wants to learn and help it’s so fulfilling and fun. It’s one of the reasons we have a farm! Kids are learning the hows and whys of farming and growing, and older folks have a place to come where things are done the way they were years ago.

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”

We want to do more to give back.

Through our non-profit, which launched in 2022, we will be hosting educational classes and workshops, and we started a college scholarship fund to support the next generation entering into sustainable agriculture.
