Kids Cooking Class
Want a fun indoor activity for your children this winter? Kids In The Kitchen is a 3-part cooking class series for kids ages 6-9. They’ll have the opportunity to learn about local in-season vegetables, how to prep them safely, and prepare simple recipes like soup or bread rolls!
We will provide child-friendly knives, cut-proof gloves, and aprons for use in the class.
Details:
This is a 3-part series. Classes will run from 10am-12pm on the following dates:
January 25th, 2025 (Class is postponed from January 11)
February 1st, 2025
February 22nd, 2025
The fee covers all three classes. There is no option to choose only a single class. In case of inclement weather, a snow date is TBD.
Classes will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church — 95 Greenwood Ave, Bethel, CT
Things to Note:
A waiver will be filled out on Day one of class
Children must wear a baseball hat or bandana in class and long hair must be tied back.
Refundability:
No refunds will be issued under any circumstances. In the case of inclement weather, a snow date is TBD.
Proceeds help support our Non-profit, M&J On The Way Farm, Inc. 501(c)3. The non-profit is fully licensed and insured.
